I am fascinated by dance and movement. For me, my botanic drawings and paintings must “dance”. In the same way that my fashion photography once sought to capture movement on the other side of the camera, my sculptures must “dance” caught in movement, captured forever in the essence of time.
Insects, botanics and marine life are of special interest to me.
Drawings, whether pencil, pen or mixed media, are reflective of nature, botanics, marine or wild life and delicate insects feature in my drawings and paintings. As with my sculpture, quality, consistency and an awareness of detail in both 2D and 3D works, lie behind the ethos of integrity and reliability and are the threads which bind my business.
